Mopar Big Block REAL Dyno Numbers | 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Big Block |
Today we are taking a classic 375 hp 440 mopar big block, and seeing how much power the legendary engine actually makes. We are using the California Auto Workz chassis dyno for all this testing. I hope these numbers dont break the hearts of anyone!

Its dyno day for the 1970 dodge challenger rt! This car is sporting an original 440 HP from 1970. The engine has been rebuilt to factory specs with only a few minor changes. We will be running this car on the California Auto Workz dyno in Hemet California. Carburetion is controlled by a Proform 750 mechanical secondary, race series carburetor sitting on top of a dual plane aluminum intake. Exhaust is handled by a set of 1-7/8 long tube headers ran into dual 2.5 exhaust tied together with an xpipe and then entering into a set of chambered mufflers. The transmission is a 727 automatic and the rear end is a mopar 8-3/4 3.23 sure grip rear end, both original units. Today we will find out what a 440 mopar big block ACTUALLY does on a real dyno. This aint no motorhome 440, I hope it makes good power but we'll see!

#mopar #challenger #dynoday
...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztrIAMQG6Xw
