Originally uploaded on 1 aug. 2015.<br /><br />The Pak43 "Panzerjagerkanone 43"is a German 88mm anti-tank gun developed<br />by Krupp in 1941/42, in competition with the Rheinmetall 88mm Flak 41<br />anti-aircraft gun and used during WW2.<br /><br />The Pak43 was the most powerful ani-tank gun of the Wehrmacht to see service<br />and 2100 were produced it was also used as the main gun on the Tiger II, Nashorn,<br />Elefant and the Jagdpanther.<br /><br />The main version had a cruciform mount.
