Sooo the live stream was really messed up and we had to send people over to Twitch, which streamed beautifully. This video was messed up afterward, but now appears fine, so I made it public again. So strange.<br /><br />Where is everybody? Why haven't we heard from other civilizations by now?<br /><br />Enrico Fermi first asked the question: Where is Everybody? The galaxy is old enough and there has been plenty of time for any technological civilization to make itself heard, so why haven't we?<br /><br />It's possible there is a filter that prevents civilizations from getting past a certain point. It may be that life itself runs up against events that keep it from reaching beyond a certain level in their evolution.<br /><br />Humanity may have yet to face this filter if it exists. Perhaps we've already past it. How would we know?
