Thailand tourist visa! <br />This January my girlfriend and I will go for 3 months in Thailand and I have just discovered that in order to stay more than 60 days, a tourist visa is required, unlike the 30 days, that I could easily stay since I am Italian.<br />So, basically, for only 30 days of stay, you need a visa that they issue you as soon as you arrive in Thailand, without needing anything else. With this type of visa, it is possible to extend the stay for another 30 days, for a maximum total of 60 days, after which it is necessary to leave Thailand. But you can buy a flight for less than 50 euro, exit from thailand and enter again also the next day, so your visa will restart from day 0. <br /><br />I will stay for around 90 days, so i went to Rome, to the Thai embassy in Italy to be able to request another type of visa, which will give me the possibility to stay for 60 days, plus an eventual extension / renewal on site for another 30 days, for a maximum of 90 days and a total cost of around 80-90 euros.
