Today is called by many Christian Believers *Palm Sunday*. It is almost always celebrated as a happy time in the ministry of Jesus on Earth. However, Jesus knew while riding the colt into Jerusalem that these self same people would, less than one week later call for His death on the Cross. <br />He knew who would be betray Him. He knew what this first day of the week meant for those who would not believe in Him and who would not understand why *HE HAD TO DO IT.*<br />The Jews ask for the death of Jesus, Pilate had his death squad crucify Him. But it was because of the entire world Jesus died. ALL, yes *ALL* of our sin drove nails into Jesus' hands and feet. ALL of us caused His need to die so we could be *SAVED*. That generation and all others before and after is who Jesus died for. <br />Those who did not believe were led astray by the opinion of a very few. But God knew men's hearts were not true. That man *ALWAYS* sins. There was no sacrifice on Earth pure enough or worthy enough to save the human race from hell both on Earth and the life beyond. *DO NOT BE FOOLED*. All of us will live on after our Earthly death. Our bodies are vessels for our souls. The unbelievers, those who never wanted to know God, who were too good for Him, those who thought they did not need saving had everlasting HELL!<br />Believers in Christ who truly love the Lord with all their heart, all their soul and all their might will go one to live with Jesus in Paradise for eternity. <br />The first creation of God was a place to put HIS children. He created Paradise on Earth but gave His children *FREEDOM OF CHOICE.*<br />Not so much to test us but because knew from the beginning that man created from dust shall return to dust. Jesus was God when the world was created. Jesus was there when Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son.<br />Jesus was there when the sea parted and the nation of Israel was saved from the hands of the Egyptian tyrants.<br />He became man so He would know what happens to humans and could really say, "I feel your pain". <br />But who else but the very *SON OF GOD* could be our Redeemer, Savior, Sacrificial Lamb.<br />What did Jesus have to say when the soldiers hung him on the cross and the Jews spat on Him and cursed Him?<br />*"FATHER FORGIVE THEM"!*<br />We too must learn to forgive each other and ourselves. If Jesus can forgive us we must be worthy of our own forgiveness. We are special to the Lord. He grafted us into the great nation of Israel. He made us HIS OWN. Only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
