Something is thrown just ahead of me, and goes from right to left like a underhanded or sidearm pitch (I saw the movement of the object as it whipped past me). About 5-6 seconds later a crisp double wood knock was the follow-up. And it was no surprise that the knock came from the same direction of the object that whipped past me had originated. I left after dropping off the pumpkins and came back a few days later to this location determined find evidence supporting what I experienced. And made some interesting discoveries which confirmed my thoughts.
