The grocery hoist from a few years ago has stopped working. This hoist is for two elderly ladies that without it would have to carry everything up quite a few stairs. I think it did pretty good for what it was. The boat winch that was on it wasn't designed for use with an electric motor so it wore out the bushings in the gears. I figured it was time for an upgrade so since it will be Christmas soon, I decided to upgrade it for them as a Christmas present.
