Mike had to go to Denver for a few days to do Denver things, and left Ali home alone to do the silly things that Ali won't do while Mike is around. <br />#solidlotion #tutorial #DIY #archedcabin #homestead<br />Recipe:<br />Makes 9 solid lotions if you're using 2 oz tins.<br />Just under 1 cup of beeswax. Leave about 1/4" from the top. Use less if you'd like it a little softer<br />1 cup coconut oil<br />1 cup olive oil<br />2 tablespoons of evening primrose oil or any other supplemental oil you'd like (optional)<br />2 tablespoons vitamin e oil (optional)<br />2 tablespoons fragrance oil. I used Nag Champa in this batch.* If using essential oils, I would use a capful at the most. They are potent!*<br />Melt your beeswax & coconut oil in a jar or pyrex measuring glass in a bath of hot water, and add in your olive oil to heat and blend. Once all the oils are melted, remove from heat and add the optional oils and fragrance oil. Blend well with a popsicle stick, and pour into your 2 oz tins.
