Where We Are In The House Speaker Race<br /><br />A deal is on the table that will see 10 to 12 Republican holdouts endorse GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy for speaker, according to a source verified by Fox News Digital.<br /><br />McCarthy can only afford to lose four members of his caucus with the GOP’s narrow House majority, so it’s uncertain if this compromise would secure him the speakership.<br /><br />During Thursday’s votes, a group of 20 Republicans backed Representative-elects Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Kevin Hern (R-OK).<br /><br />Despite 11 rounds of voting over the last three days, the House has failed to pick a speaker.
