As part of its return to full operation under its new ownership, the East Broad Top Railroad activated its historic gas-electric Doodlebug M-1 and a trailing caboose for rides during the first Winter Festival to be held in over a decade. The trip was short, shuttling between the main station in Rockhill and the summit bridge about 2 miles north of the station. <br /><br />In this compilation we have the excursion set arriving at the Rockhill Trolley Museum shortly after former Public Service PCC car #6 departs for it to pass. In the second clip the set departs the Rockhill terminal. In the third we have a second view of the M-1 departing and then passing by the crossing for the local wastewater treatment plant.
