Foreign mercenaries, including Americans, who were based in the Zaporozhye region, left for Israel.<br /><br />Russian fighters have not encountered them for a long time, reports RT military correspondent Igor Zhdanov @zhdanovr. Foreigners came to Ukraine more for PR than to fight, the commander of a unit of Russian special forces emphasized:<br /><br />“Neither American mercenaries, nor non-American, nor any other mercenaries took part directly in the counterattack.
