You are not going to take it any more and the hitters have to play your game. <br /><br />The adrenaline pumps, the focus intensifies, and the aggressiveness quickly changes the atmosphere between the lines. IT JUST GOT REAL FOR THE HITTERS! <br /><br />A part of you doesn’t care what happens. You were punched in the face and it was a wake up call to compete. They have to beat you at your best! <br /><br />Like in Rocky 3, when Balboa was calling out the bruiser Clubber Lang. <br /><br />Hit me, Hit me harder, Hit me Harder, My mother hits harder than that. You ain’t so BAD! <br /><br />Everything switches from just moments ago. You relish in the opportunity that you have the baseball, standing on YOUR Mound, and he has to hit your pitches. <br />Hell, you may even tell him what’s coming!!! <br />That’s how quick confidence can arise. <br /><br />The hitter will respond to those vibes. <br />He can feel your attitude change. Even without saying anything. The secret behind this tactic, is that many hitters, especially the undisciplined, will fall trap to it. <br /><br />They will begin to squeeze the bat too tightly along with the rest of the body losing its fluidity. Mentally, sure, they rise to the situation, although physically, rigamortis has kicked in. Their reactions won’t be as quick. <br />You have got them where you want them.<br />They have no idea what they are in for! <br /><br />We all respond to the body language in others. And it goes like this.<br />Confidence hunts, fear is the prey. If you get Confidence vs Confidence, something epic is about to happen. Someone has to win this battle….and it might as well be YOU!!! <br /><br />When you are elevated to this level of consciousness on the mound, embrace it and run with it.
