Google translate is a great app to have on your phone even if you do not use it all the time. Just having it in reserve can help you out in many different situations.<br /><br />First and for most Google translate should be on your phone if you are travailing anywhere that your primary language is not the standard language. It will help you understand everything from road signs to menus. As well as talk with the locals. If you are worried about data charges while traveling don't.
