Setup of EZVIZ Mini O 720p HD Wi-Fi Home Video<br /> 1. Download EZVIZ app on iOS 7.0+ (iPhone, iPad), Android 4.0+.<br /> 2. Have smartphone or tablet on same 2.4GHz SSID as camera.<br /> 3. Create an account and follow easy and quick setup steps in app. <br /> 4. Store the account login and password in a password manager app<br /> <br />While setting up the Mini O, check for the latest firmware update and apply it before continuing with connecting to Alexa. Check for firmware updates on a regular basis.<br />ALEXA Skills Setup for Fire 8 Tablet<br /> 1. Select the “Enable Skill” button in the Alexa APP to link your EZVIZ account and discover your device.<br /> 2. Select a suitable name for your camera in the EZVIZ APP. <br /> 3. Discover your camera in the Alexa APP.<br /><br />If you change the name of a camera after Alexa has discovered it, you may need to rerun the discovery process in order to use the camera with the new name.<br /><br />Note: Image Encryption must be turned off from your camera settings in the EZVIZ APP to properly connect with Alexa.<br /><br />To see a particular camera - Alex, show the "name of camera" (i.e. Alexa, show the front door)<br />To return back to the Alexa Show Screen - "Alexa, hide the "name of camera" (i.e. Alea, hide the front door"<br /><br />Notes:<br /> 1) When initially configuring the camera, make sure your smartphone/tablet is on the same SSID as the camera will be on. This delayed me from getting my camera configured by almost 20 minutes because of that and step 2.<br /> 2) Make sure the SSID is 2.4Ghz based as the camera being used here only has 2.4Ghz support<br /> 3) Depending on network/internet conditions, it may take as long as 7 to 10 seconds before the image from the camera will be on screen.
