I’ve been avocating for a while now that Nier needed some sort of Remake to smooth things out or at the very least a remaster. Well we got our wish, as it was announced today during Nier’s 10th aniversary live stream that Nier Replicant is getting a remaster. Though from what I’m reading this seems to be more than just a remaster but, square also isn’t calling it a remake either. Platinum games isn’t directly working on it but it also would appear they are giving input on the project. Either way I’m excited and I hope to hear more. As the Replicant version wasn’t released outside of japan.
