On this adventure, I am hiking in the town of Trinidad in Northern California not far from Redwood National Park and the city of Eureka. This was my first time visiting this beach town and I must say I was extremely impressed with how beautiful it was! The Elk Head Loop Trail is labeled as easy at 1.2 Mi round trip and 134ft of elevation gain. I do go off-trail in the beginning and hike down a steep hill to get to one of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever laid my eyes on! I complete this trail that ends up taking me to a really beautiful overlook of the ocean and gorgeous sea cliffs!
