I got back into this game recently. I finally unlocked all the upgrades for the rest of the towers, so I took a crack at Freeplay Mode.<br /><br />I'm running this through Bluestacks instead of Steam because I got the Android version first. While you can transfer account progress seamlessly, you still need to actually buy the version you don't have.<br /><br />Needless to say, the game runs into a hard bottleneck on mobile, even with the faster power of Bluestacks.
