They chose disobedience and sin entered the world.<br />Because of sin, all humanity has become cut off from God, cutoff from the tree of life. Now, the only inevitable or automatic outcome for flesh and blood human beings is death, a return back to lifeless molecules and atoms, and non-existence. But there is a way to set matters straight, to be forgiven of sin, to receive the spirit of eternal life... John 3:16-17.<br />The terms and conditions of that salvation are also spelled out in God's word.
